Throughout my career, I have excelled as a runway and promotional model, including work in sales and marketing. Beyond modeling, I hold a degree in Accounting and Finance from Unity University, where I developed strong skills in time management, adaptability, and active listening. I thrive in fast-paced environments, working seamlessly under tight schedules while remaining flexible and open to change. Outside of work, I enjoy reading books—especially in psychology, history, and art—along with music, travel, movies, and community volunteering. I’m always eager to connect with like-minded professionals, explore new opportunities, and push boundaries in the fashion industry.
I am passionate about sustainable development and environmental conservation in Ethiopia. I believe in responsible fashion, eco-friendly practices, and supporting initiatives that protect our planet for future generations.
As a model and advocate, my mission extends beyond the runway. I am committed to using my platform to empower women and girls, inspire confidence, and promote inclusivity in the fashion industry.
I take pride in representing Ethiopian culture and tourism, showcasing our rich heritage, traditions, and artistry to the world. Through fashion and storytelling, I strive to elevate Ethiopia’s presence on the global stage.
I had the prestigious opportunity to represent Ethiopia at Africa Celebrates 2023, a grand three-day festival that brought together the best of African fashion, culture, and creativity. The event, which culminated in a spectacular Gala Fashion and Awards Night in Addis Ababa, featured top designers and models from across the continent..
"Designers promote themselves and expand their businesses, but our traditional clothes are often reserved for special occasions. The goal here is to change that perception and bring Ethiopian fashion into everyday life—whether at work or beyond."
— Nafkot Sintayehu
I had the privilege of serving as both a model and marketing manager for a remarkable fashion show held in cooperation with Adama Defence Foundation and the garment industry. This event, themed “Let Ethiopia Produce!”, was a celebration of Ethiopian craftsmanship, innovation, and the potential of our local fashion industry. The runway showcased stunning outfits designed and produced by Ethiopian designers and manufacturers, proving that our traditional and modern styles can go beyond festive occasions. My mission is to help shift the perception of Ethiopian fashion—these designs are not just for holidays, but for daily life, from office wear to casual outings.
